Missions Education

Our Missions program is designed to teach children about Jesus and what it means to serve others through missions involvement. We offer two classes of Mission Friends for our preschoolers – a 2 and 3 year old class as well as a 4 and 5 year old class. Mission Friends uses age appropriate curriculum to begin introducing young children to missions and helping them understand how they can play a part in serving and loving others. Our Mission Friends classes participate in several mission projects throughout the year giving children an opportunity to apply all that they are learning.

Our girls and boys in first through fourth grade work alongside excellent adult leaders to learn about global missions. In GAs and RAs boys and girls are actively involved in learning about missions, praying for and giving to missions, and actually doing mission projects themselves. Children also learn Bible verses and use these verses to begin to understand their role as missionaries in their community and around the world.

Meeting Time:

All missions classes are a part of Wednesdays at First. Dinner is served continually from 5:00pm-6:00pm. Classes start for the entire family at 6:00pm and last until 7:00pm.
